"Alumni Mengabdi" activities are a briefing from alumni to students to be ready to face the world of work. The event took place on Friday, September 29, 2017 presenting alumni Agung Wicaksono (Mathematics 2008) working at the insurance company Jiwasraya Jakarta and Rumtini (Mathematics 2003) working as entrepreneurs in the field of data analysis.

As Agung said, graduates of Mathematics study programs have the potential to work in insurance companies because they have the necessary knowledge, for example, in actuarial or financial mathematics courses. In addition, other courses also strongly support the students' critical thinking process so that the graduates produced are able to compete in the world of work. Meanwhile, Rumtini delivered material about the prospects of mathematics study program graduates, the moral messages of parents' dreams, and life principles. With the implementation of this activity it is hoped that mathematics study program students will gain knowledge sharing from alumni to prepare themselves to enter the work environment when they graduate. Furthermore, this activity is planned to continue by inviting the willingness of Mathematics study program alumni to become speakers.
