Aifa Maladina Ulya, a student at Yogyakarta State University, has been given the valuable opportunity to join the international assessment team as a Student Expert during the ASIIN international accreditation visit to Hasanuddin University on 6–7 May 2026.

This opportunity arose when Aifa served as a student representative during the ASIIN accreditation process at Yogyakarta State University in March 2026. Drawing on this experience, as well as her international track record through a summer programme at Nara Women’s University in August 2025, Aifa took the initiative to submit her CV and participate in ASIIN’s internal selection process.

In April 2026, Aifa received news that she had been selected as a Student Expert and assigned to an on-site visit at Hasanuddin University. During this visit, Aifa was tasked with evaluating various aspects of the higher education learning system from a student’s perspective.

The evaluation process was conducted comprehensively through a series of meetings with university leadership, the Academic Senate, programme coordinators, alumni, current students, industry partners, and teaching staff. Additionally, the assessment team conducted on-site inspections of campus facilities, such as laboratories, libraries, and classrooms.

During this assignment, Aifa was part of Cluster A.
