Workshop on Leveraging Technology for Applied Mathematics Research: From Idea Generation to Thesis Writing

This workshop was part of the Applied Mathematics and Analysis Research Group (KBK Matematika Terapan dan Analisis) program. The event was held on Thursday–Friday, February 6–7, 2025, featuring speakers from both Yogyakarta State University (UNY) and external institutions who possess expertise aligned with the workshop’s theme.

Speakers from UNY included Prof. Dr. Hartono, M.Si., Dr. Nikenasih Binatari, M.Si., and Thesa Adi Saputra Yusri, M.Cs. Meanwhile, the external speakers were Glagah Eskacakra Setyowisnu, M.Si. (from UNSOED) and Ahmadi, M.Si. (from UII), both of whom are proud alumni of the Mathematics Study Program at UNY. Hence, this workshop also served as a meaningful form of alumni contribution and engagement.

The workshop ran smoothly, attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Department of Mathematics Education, UNY. Participants were highly enthusiastic throughout the sessions, which aimed to inspire them to develop and articulate innovative ideas for their final research projects.
